This place matters - to people learning about the Coast Salish people who lived here and whose reach extended throughout the region, to islanders researching their homes, to school children discovering their heritage, to visitors curious about the island, to descendants of pioneers.
The museum, founded in the '70's, nurtured by many volunteers, funded exclusively through private donations and grants, needs your help for the next phase.
