The allure of glitzy political buttons led Gib Dammann to start his political memorabilia collection at the age of 7 and he has continued to be intrigued and fascinated by all presidential election memorabilia since. This Special Exhibit showcases a long commitment on Gib’s part to honor those who ran for office and their marketing paraphernalia used. The Vashon Heritage Museum is honored to showcase this collection from July 5th through February 2025. You will be entertained by the whimsy, educated by the timeline of events from 1916 on and find the voting of Vashon residents surprising at times!
