VMIHA Welcomes Events Fundraiser Marissa Tsniff

by Brian Brenno

The VMIHA Board of Directors has hired a staff person to coordinated and develop fundraising events for the Association. Marissa will work with board members and volunteers to bring great events together for the museum. Marissa first visited Vashon Island for Festival 2009 and she knew she was home, she bought a home on the north end in 2016. She lives there with her husband Lennon and her two young children, Isla and Lewis. Marissa most recently worked for United Way of King County, prior to that she spend many years in political fundraising. Her past fundraising experience, warm positive personality and new creative fundraising ideas are a welcome addition to VMIHA.

Marissa says she no longer commutes into Seattle and misses playing cribbage on the Sally Fox. Her favorite spot on the island is Fern Cove. She looks forward to getting to know supporters and friends of the Vashon History Museum.
