Join us as the Virginia V returns to Vashon Island for an afternoon circumnavigation cruise on Sunday August 26th. From the 1880s to the 1930s she was part of a network of ships serving the Puget Sound, including Vashon's 32 docks. Now, she is the last operational Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet steamer. While onboard, watch the reciprocating steam engine in action; see the island from a different perspective; enjoy a catered lunch and visit the cash bar on the aft deck.
Boarding begins at half past noon at the Vashon Island North end ferry dock, passenger only slip. The vessel departs at 1:00pm and returns to dock at 5:00pm. Tickets are $150.00 Vashon Heritage Members receive a 10% discount. Catered lunch provided by On Safari Foods. Renowned bartender, Jessica DeWire, will host an onboard cash bar. Valet parking available by request upon reservation.
