Join Vashon Nature Center staff, local scientists, and your community to count as many species as possible in 24 hours!

Celebrate the natural wonder of Vashon Island by learning about and documenting the biodiversity of our surroundings. The 24 hour Bioblitz event is for folks of all ages, abilities, and experiences levels.

There will be activities that are happening on a drop-in basis and/or are geared towards children and their families at our basecamp hosted at Vashon Heritage Museum (Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning/afternoon) and Fisher Pond parking lot (Saturday evening). These do not need to be signed up for in advance.
