Natural Wonder Opening Night Fundraiser

The Vashon Heritage Museum and Vashon Nature Center are excited to announce the opening of our new exhibit Natural Wonder: An Island Shaped by Water with a specially ticketed evening featuring a guided tour by many of the local experts who helped create the exhibit.

Explore the wonder of nature on Vashon Island and learn about how all life is intrinsically connected and shaped by the water around us. Enter the Puget Sound portal and experience the journey of salmon from the waters of the Pacific Ocean as they return to their spawning grounds at Shinglemill Creek.

Secure Wonder Passes for you and your family now to fully experience Natural Wonder for the first time, with a wealth of local experts at your disposal to answer any questions you might have. *Please note: In the interests of safety during the pandemic, each Wonder Pass group will be allotted 30 minutes to view the exhibit and converse with the experts. The maximum group size for each time block is 10 individuals. There will be limited individual Wonder Passes for sale for those who do not need a group pass.

 

In the event we are forced to postpone the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all purchased Wonder Passes will be honored for a new date.

Vaccine Verification

In accordance with King County guidelines, all guests ages 12 and older will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result to enter the Vashon Heritage Museum.

Please bring your CDC vaccine card or a photo of the card. Guests who are not vaccinated must show proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test in the last 72 hours.
