End of Summer Interpretative Day

Explore our new exhibit Natural Wonder: An Island Shaped by Water and experience Whale People: Protectors of the Sea one last time.
August 28, 6:00-10:00 pm

Join us as we welcome many of the partners and organizations who assisted us in building our new exhibit Natural Wonder: An Island Shaped by Water, created in partnership with the Vashon Nature Center. If you have taken a walk through our backyard, you’ve seen the beautiful native rock garden, the native plant garden, and the Whale People: Protectors of the Sea exhibit. On August 28, members of those organizations will be on hand to offer an incredibly informative viewing experience of Natural Wonder.

6:00-8:00 pm
View the outdoor Natural Wonder exhibits and talk with representatives and experts to answer all your questions on geology, orca whales, green gardening, native plants, and much more.

8:00-10:00 pm
Experience Whale People: Protectors of the Sea for the final time! Members of The Natural History Museum will be on-site to answer your questions about this fantastic exhibit. This is your last chance to see Whale People, so don’t miss out!
